About us

the enpack packaging compliance scheme

The Enpack scheme has been operating since 2009 after gaining Defra approval.

As a smaller scheme the focus has been to concentrate purely on packaging compliance and to work closely with all  members.  We aim to  understand each members’ individual businesses so that we can provide quality guidance and supportive membership; this results in saving our members time and ultimately money.

the people behind enpack

The Enpack Scheme Managers, Kevin and Tracey Gibbons started working, in 2004, in the fields of packaging compliance in consultancy roles, assisting companies with direct registration with the Environment Agency.  It was a natural progression to gain Defra approval and formally  register a compliance scheme, allowing us to compete on a level playing field with the larger corporate schemes.

KEVIN GIBBONS  – I started my career working for GEC as a graduate mechanical engineer working on steam turbine manufacture and procurement. I progressed to a role in management consultancy, with exposure to a wide and diverse range of businesses and was where I first encountered the environmental services sector.  In 2001 I founded Waystreme Ltd to offer  environmental services with the aim of cutting through the corporate jargon, explain things in simple English, and offer clients what they actually needed”.

TRACEY GIBBONS – “I first set out in Human Resources and Training and Development within the NHS, although I now have over 20 years experience in the fields of facilities management, environmental and packaging compliance.  As joint scheme owner and operator I was instrumental in gaining approval for the Enpack scheme and have helped grow the scheme from the very start.”
